You will investigate the spirits that are said to linger near the Oldest Wooden School House on St. George Street, with exclusive access to both the gardens and the School House itself. Along the way you will learn that the building is documented on tax rolls since 1716 and was bought by Juan Genopoly in 1780. You will hear that Genopoly arrived as an indentured person at the Turnbull Plantation to grow and process indigo, later became a merchant and lived in the building with his family. In 1788 a school began there teaching both boys and girls, and the last graduating class is believed to have ended in 1864.

You will explore the grounds carefully, using tools that paranormal investigators commonly use. You may bring your own equipment or choose from an assortment of tools available on site. Bring a camera so you can document anything you encounter. You will join hosts who are determined to investigate why those who have departed this life appear to remain in the area. This is presented as a real paranormal experience — it is not a haunted-house attraction and does not rely on jump scares.
