Along the way you'll have the chance to enter the world‑famous Tactile Dome, a twisting, turning space of total darkness that encourages perception through touch. The museum also includes a unique museum store and two places to eat: Seaglass restaurant, which has a stunning Bay view, and the Seismic Joint Cafe (hours vary). Located at Pier 15 along San Francisco’s Embarcadero, between Pier 39 and the Ferry Building, the Exploratorium is easy to reach by public transport and there is parking nearby.
