This ghostly historic tour takes you to the southern tip of Tybee Island, beginning at the historic Carbo House. You’ll be greeted by a knowledgeable local ghost host for check-in, then escorted around the South Beach area. South Beach is considered the island’s down-front district and is full of shops, restaurants, bars and attractions — and the tour will share its ghostly stories and local history as you move through the streets.
Along the way there will be a restroom and cocktail break at a family-friendly restaurant that has a haunted background and a lot of history. If you’d like to wander the sandy beaches to look for shades and shadows, please note that pets are not allowed on the beach unless they are service animals. If you bring a baby stroller, there may be limitations on the actual beach; the guide can try to improvise if needed.
