At Wrightsville Beach you'll learn to surf with an experienced local instructor. The session begins with a short safety and basics briefing on the sand, then moves into the water where you'll practise with a provided board and other gear. Your instructor stays with you in the water and adapts to your pace, giving hands-on guidance as you go.
This is a longer lesson than a standard intro, so you'll have more opportunities to catch waves and to practise paddling and popping up. Along the way you'll receive more personalised feedback to help you build real progress in a single session. The experience suits first-timers seeking a solid introduction as well as surfers who want to refine their technique.
Bring sunscreen, water and a towel; all other equipment is taken care of so you can focus on the ocean and the coaching.
