The Rogue River thrill seeker trip offers a full-day mix of self‑paddling and guided whitewater. In the morning you will paddle an inflatable kayak through the clear pools at the bottom of Hellgate Canyon and take on the class II rapids of the Rogue River. Guides will teach the necessary skills and point out the best lines, but the paddling through the rapids will be up to you.
Mid‑day the group will relax on a patio for lunch and play a few rounds of ladder golf. After lunch there is a short transfer to the put‑in for the Nugget Falls section of the Rogue River, where the whitewater becomes larger. You will board a paddle raft and work as part of a team to navigate the frothing torrents. The afternoon section increases in difficulty and culminates in Tilomikh Falls, a pair of drops that total over 10 feet. Along the way you will experience contrasting river scenery and progressively challenging rapids as the day moves from calm canyon pools to powerful falls.
