Nature Walk

A behind-the-scenes look at tree farming tasks, off-season activities, and balsam-scented fields

Free cancellation available
Up to 24 hours before the start time
Duration: 4 hours
Service animals welcome

The smell of balsam seems to ease the mind and relax the body, at least for us. Perhaps it will work for you as well. This experience takes place on a working tree farm where you will get a close, personal look at life behind the scenes.

Along the way you will see how the farm operates and learn about the different jobs involved. You will be shown what a tree farmer’s days can look like and what happens during the off-season. As you move through the property, the hosts will share insights from their own working life, giving you a realistic picture of daily tasks and seasonal rhythms rather than a polished tour. The visit is conversational and hands-on in tone, so you can ask questions and imagine what it might be like to work here.
