An evening aboard the River Explorer departs from River Street and takes you out onto the Lowcountry waterways for a relaxed sunset cruise. You’ll be in search of the local Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins as the Captain and crew navigate the river. Along the way you'll take in the waterway scenery and the experience will conclude with a picturesque sunset view of Savannah as the boat makes its way up the river to port.
Your Captain and First Mate will share the history of Savannah and its surrounding waterways, and the tour will cover the different aspects of the Lowcountry ecosystem. As you listen, you’ll learn about the area's natural features and the life they support. The cruise is presented in an accessible way, so it’s suitable for guests of all ages.
