On this self-guided ghost walk you will explore Over the Rhine (OTR), the large, well-preserved historic neighbourhood and follow the stories tied to its darker past. Along the way you’ll walk down the Elm Street that inspired Freddy Kruger, hear the haunted tale of Music Hall, find the spot where the lady in Red is said to reside, and learn about a bar hidden four stories below street level. You’ll also linger in the park as you search for the Witch of Washington Park and encounter other eerie local legends.
The tour is delivered through the WalknTours app, so you’ll move at your own pace and take it whenever you like—the tour does not expire. The route stays outdoors and all stops are viewed from outside; this experience does not include entering buildings. The app lets you navigate solo with your phone and offers narrated storytelling similar to a live guide, with the convenience of a self-led walk.
