You’ll travel through winding creeks toward Morris Island, passing marshes and oyster beds where dolphins and wading birds may appear. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to spot wildlife and take in the coastal scenery as you head for the south end of the island.
The landing is near the Morris Island Lighthouse, and you’ll have time to walk the beach on your own. Explore the shoreline at your own pace and search for shells, shark teeth and fossils. On the return trip toward the dock, dolphins are often visible; the inlet behind the island is one of their favourite hangouts, so sightings are likely as you head back.
