You'll join a guaranteed small surf group of two students or fewer, so you'll have plenty of space in the water and personalised attention. Sessions are arranged at staggered odd hours to keep crowds down, so you won't have lots of people in your way while you get comfortable on the board. The waves are available year‑round and are well suited to beginners, giving you regular, gentle conditions to practise.
Local professional surf instructors will be in the water with you. When they're not teaching, you'll often find them competing in events around the world. As you move through the session, you'll work in close contact with these experienced surfers, practising in beginner‑friendly surf and gaining confidence at a steady pace. The focus is on hands‑on time in the water with expert guidance in a low‑crowd setting.
