Amazing atmosphere, yet relaxing. Junior is the best host you can ask for. He is delivering and making you feel comfortable without you even noticing. He always goes above and beyond.

Nice and calm environment. Common space with hammocks and kitchen. In a secure and quiet area in walking distance to town.

The room was exactly as the pictures on booking. The host is very kind, the room is beautiful and very comfortable. The hotel is very close to the main beach and you just walk 2 minutes to find market, cafes, restaurants and the main beach.

Amazing stay in Alter do Chao. The owners were especially kind and helpful, going above and beyond to help with tours, transfers, laundry, etc. Breakfast was tasty and homemade. The pets were a nice bonus.

Everything about our stay at Pousada Tauari exceeded our expectations. The room was comfortable with excellent and quiet air conditioning which is very important in the Amazon. The breakfast was outstanding with lots of variety and interesting things to eat. The location was great, just a few blocks from the main square. Most importantly, the hosts (Ricardo and Katcha) are wonderful people who went out of their way to make sure that we had everything that we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. We owe them our gratitude and thanks for a great experience.
