I really enjoy staying at unique properties like this ... especially when a lot of care has been taken to restore. I'm an American journalist doing a series of articles on cycling in Spain for several magazines, traveling solo. I didn't need the second bedroom but if traveling with family or friends, it would be welcome. Everything worked as it should except for the coffee machine (the pods didn't seem to work with the machine presented - but I travel with my own instant coffee and there was a hot water kettle); and the washing machine didn't end the cycle like most do with the spinning to remove water - there was a puddle of water in the bottom that meant the clothes were still soaked when I went to pull them out. I don't know if it was the machine or something I did. These were minor details however as I enjoyed my stay and the ambience of the home and unique history. The apartment was easy to find and check-in was no problem. Bed was comfortable as well as the couch. Full kitchen with full size refrigerator. WiFi worked great. Shower and bathroom were excellent. On the first floor there is another toilet which would be great for larger groups. The area is quiet and safe. Markets and restaurants close.
