We really loved the location—close enough to Puerto Viejo to get to town quickly, yet totally surrounded by nature, quiet, and very peaceful. The house feels safe and private, with comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. It has great ventilation, which kept the spaces fresh, and the design gives off a true Caribbean vibe. The property is beautiful and clearly very well taken care of, and the spacious kitchen and living area were perfect for cooking, relaxing, and spending time together as a group.

We loved our stay here! It's in the middle of the Forrest on top of the mountain. Perfect location close to Puerto viejo. Big rooms with a warm shower and good airco and fan. There is also a pool and a small gym you can use. The owner is very friendly and is super helpful. He gave us a lot of great tips and recommendations. At night we could hear the animals in the forest. Overall, great experience!

Villa Julio is a beautiful property. It was exactly what our family needed.

Our stay at the Mimosas was exactly what we needed. The whole experience was magical and we slept like babies immersed in the jungle experience. Waking up and sleeping to the sounds of the jungle was so relaxing and romantic. Especially enjoyed the beautiful pool at the end of a fun day exploring. The hosts were great, and we plan to come back again.

Amazing place, everything works perfectly.

Be able to walk short 7-10mins to the beach, the suite was wonderful has everything you need, breakfast we had was a Pinto burger with a egg and it was delicious… Giacomo the host was also very friendly and helpful. The pool was very clean and we definitely enjoyed it once we got back from the beach! Definitely worth it

Cute little room. Right across from the beach. With small patio and 2 hammocks. AC included. Comfy bed. Staff friendly and attentive. If you would like your drink not too sweet, ask for no sugar.

Excellent service. Cannot beat the pool and the nice rooms with A/C during the hot days. They have bikes to rent, as well as a tuk tuk. WiFi is great with TV in every quarters to watch Netflix etc. Tim is an excellent host and his staff is extremely accommodating. A true gem. We even came to hang out with friends when staying elsewhere because the vibe is Pura Vida!

The architecture and the gardens are amazing. The rooms are large and extremely comfortable.

I had a wonderful stay at Svastha. The location is beautiful—surrounded by lush nature yet just a short walk from town. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the whole space has such a peaceful, grounding energy. I loved the yoga and Ayurveda café concept — the classes, food, and overall atmosphere felt authentic and thoughtfully designed. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the kitchen and common areas made it easy to feel at home. The yoga teachers and facilitators were excellent — truly embodying the spirit of yoga and community. A great place to rest, connect, and recharge. Highly recommend!

Large house. Very well kept with everything you might need. Easy to check in / out. Nice balcony. Situated close to the center of the town and on top of a small bakery with very friendly staff.

The hosts were amazing. They're communication was excellent and they provided helpful information. I made the mistake of forgetting a backpack at the house and the host were very responsive and helpful with having it couriered to me at the Central Valley. I couldn't be happier with their service and will definitely consider them first when visiting Puerto Viejo again.
