Beach Hotels in Ayampe

The staff were friendly, the accommodations were comfortable, it was not expensive and the facilities were amazing.

I loved the the people that work there and their attention to the guests...the food was top, the vibe was positive, the room was comfortable---the surrounding neighborhood was a joy to walk through--I left with a strong desire to return and build relationships with local folks.

We loved everything! The place, the bedroom, the staff, the breakfast… we spent an amazing time in Ganso & Buho and even booked an additional night because we didn’t want to leave the place. The staff recommended us some tours with Latin Trek, it was really nice.

The location is excellent! And you get the beach in front of the hotel. The room had a kitchen and a big bed.

I liked this cute place. They have a nice common area to eat or chill. They have laundry service and an outdoor kitchen. The bathroom had hot water. They have mosquito protection in the room. The staff was very friendly and helped with any questions.

Absolutely perfect location, just steps from the beach. Lovely garden and clean, tidy rooms with good A/C. Friendly staff and even friendlier dogs. The community kitchen is a big bonus, although the utensils, etc. could use an upgrade. Hammocks at each room and by the beach as well.

I loved everything about it! The building was nice. The room was beautiful and had everything you needed. It was clean and the stuff was great. Easy going and great decorating. I wished I had more time to stay. No complaints at all. If you are staying with two people make sure you're comfortable to share the bathroom cause they don't have a door but only a curtain which doesn't cover as much as a door would do. 😅 You have free water and a fridge. The shower was the best and with hot water. I can only recommend this place. 👌🏻

Really nice, big suite right on the ocean in the heart of Ayampe. Gorgeous views, very clean and had everything we needed. The staff was amazing! Yuly the owner was extremely responsive, and Ramon was on-site to help with every request very quickly. Everyone was so friendly. Watching the surfers every morning from the outdoor patio -living room was fun. Best location in Ayampe and great to have a fully stocked kitchen. We will definitely be back!!! I love the aesthetics of Ayampe lofts, the beautiful garden AND the interior of the apartments (so many windows😍)!! I work remotely, so I spent a lot of time in the apartment and the outdoor sitting areas, they were always very comfortable. Its energy is perfect for a relaxing stay in the cute town of Ayampe. Not to mention great communication with the hosts, always very respondent :) Thank you! I cannot wait to come back!

The property is beautiful full of flowers, trees, gardenias etc. It was super clean and calm. The rooms and facilities are well maintained and the service was exceptional. The internet was strong and I was able to do work from there.

There are alot of places to stay around the world, and most of them are in it for the money - but not this one. I had no real desire to go to Las Tunas, but after backpacking around Ecuador and Peru for a while, all of the favorite people I met on the road seemed to have the exact same recommendation: Go to Onda Hostel. So I texted the hostel owners on Whatsapp, where they proceeded to be somehow genuinely interested in answering my millions of questions over text before I arrived, arranging for transport, and even picking me up a massive guanabana just because I casually mentioned once I'd like to try it. The beds are comfortable, the A/C is cool, and the coffee is endless, but it's truly the people that make this place great. The owners are passionate about building a community and they instill that same stoke in their volunteers. If you're looking to stay in a place with some atmosphere, there is none greater in the Americas. I booked at this hostel for two days and stayed on for weeks, only leaving because I had to. To my new friends that I've made at Las Tunas - Thank you, and I'll be back soon!
