Beach Hotels in Las Tunas

There are alot of places to stay around the world, and most of them are in it for the money - but not this one. I had no real desire to go to Las Tunas, but after backpacking around Ecuador and Peru for a while, all of the favorite people I met on the road seemed to have the exact same recommendation: Go to Onda Hostel. So I texted the hostel owners on Whatsapp, where they proceeded to be somehow genuinely interested in answering my millions of questions over text before I arrived, arranging for transport, and even picking me up a massive guanabana just because I casually mentioned once I'd like to try it. The beds are comfortable, the A/C is cool, and the coffee is endless, but it's truly the people that make this place great. The owners are passionate about building a community and they instill that same stoke in their volunteers. If you're looking to stay in a place with some atmosphere, there is none greater in the Americas. I booked at this hostel for two days and stayed on for weeks, only leaving because I had to. To my new friends that I've made at Las Tunas - Thank you, and I'll be back soon!

I love Azuluna, it is a very peaceful and beautiful place. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I have tried large rooms with my family and individual suites for work and they always fulfill my expectations. Their workers are friendly and the food is delicious.

It's close to the beach, about a 20 min walk and 10 mins to the town of Ayampe and it's on the main road so easy for Catching buses. The room was large and we had access to the kitchen and it was very quiet.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and we the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We can't wait to visit again.

I loved the the people that work there and their attention to the guests...the food was top, the vibe was positive, the room was comfortable---the surrounding neighborhood was a joy to walk through--I left with a strong desire to return and build relationships with local folks.

The property is beautiful full of flowers, trees, gardenias etc. It was super clean and calm. The rooms and facilities are well maintained and the service was exceptional. The internet was strong and I was able to do work from there.

The staff were friendly, the accommodations were comfortable, it was not expensive and the facilities were amazing.

Absolutely perfect location, just steps from the beach. Lovely garden and clean, tidy rooms with good A/C. Friendly staff and even friendlier dogs. The community kitchen is a big bonus, although the utensils, etc. could use an upgrade. Hammocks at each room and by the beach as well.

Everything was beautiful, I love the cabanas with a romantic vibe.
