We had a very sweet, tiny house that was just perfect and clean. Livingston is small so it seems like this place is a bit out of the center but it’s not the case, it’s like 5 minutes walk to the “Main Street”.

The best accomodation in Livingstone. Nice place, clean accommodation and tasty breakfast.

Great location at the lake with nice views from the rooms and balconies. Great breakfast and dinner, with large choice of both local dishes and popular dishes such as their pizzas. Staff was super friendly and helped us a lot when we forgot a phone on the boat. Unfortunately we only stayed one night, we regret as there are enough activities to do and the hotel is a great place to hangout!

Phenomenal all the way around! Stayed on the top floor with my wife and 2 kids. Great views, especially at sunrise. The hotel is brand new, spotlessly maintained and just a short walk up the hill from the boat dock where all the trips leave from. Carlos at the front desk was incredibly helpful on all fronts, even helping us get sorted on boat trips, and Stuart the owner is a wealth of knowledge for Livingston and the whole area. Highly recommend, especially for families. They even had a Garifuna dance night on Saturday and my daughter got to participate.

The hosts and the place are amazing. Everything is perfect here. We wish we could have stayed a little longer.

Property was clean and cute. Owned and run by local family. We like the host(owner) she made our stay comfortable. Carlos took care of whole stay comfortably, especially food area. His service was very good. They took care of customers like their families. We saw huge group of Europe families l with kids stayed comfortably. Owner was such wet lady arranged us tour for playa Blanca. Carlos and owner lady and all the employees are very professional and treated us like family.

Great spot on the water. The hotel manager is super friendly and helpful. I would stay here again!

Due to a small number of rooms, the stay felt very personal and individualized. The hosts were very friendly and helped arrange activities. Our room (deluxe bungalow) was very clean and had a direct view on the lake. The food and the drinks were also very good.

We liked everything. Our host was a lovely family of 3 children. The room we had was in a bungalow with a private bathroom, brand new high quality mattress, white linen and mosquitos curtains. Martha is a great cook. The couple was very attentive to details and made our stay very comfortable and easy. Casa Maya is closer to Livingston which allowed us going there by kayak by ourselves. Thank you Martha, Herson, Dora, Lenin and Camila for this wonderful and authentic experience within a 'chapin' family.

Julio’s cabana was newly built and very spacious. He just finished the new porch overhang the day before my arrival! I really liked the rustic feel of the home, and how private it was. I was the only one on the property during my stay. I stayed in the private room, but took a look upstairs at the loft. There are multiple beds in an open floor layout, with mosquito netting to ensure a comfortable sleep. There are kayaks available for a small extra fee, making getting around on the river very easy - especially if you have friends nearby, would like to visit the thermal waters, or grab dinner at Restaurante Viajero. Julio also has a well stocked kitchen if you will be doing your own cooking, as well as an EcoFilter water purifier. Loved my stay! Thank you Julio and your family for making me feel welcome.

The location is excellent and very peaceful, accessible only by boat, which makes the experience unique. The rooms are clean, well organized, and have a beautiful view. The property is small (only two rooms), so it feels very private and calm. Victor is an incredibly kind and helpful host. He gave great recommendations, helped me plan my days, and made amazing food. I felt completely safe during my stay. The kitchen is fully equipped and very convenient.

Freshly picked coconut water upon our arrival, pristinely kept grounds surrounded by local flora with the sound of birds/waves all around us, and a gentle ocean breeze through our hair...ABSOLUTE NIRVANA🪷 Our stay was peaceful, safe, with a plethora of amenities and attention to all the details. It was filled with moments that felt personalized, as the owners took every opportunity to ensure that our experience complimented the occasion. My husband booked this little gem in celebration of our Wedding Anniversary, and the experience far superseded my expectations. Secluded, comfortable, and romantic🏖️🐚🩷 If all you have is a back pack on your back and comfortable shoes, feel free to access this place through the jungle walking trail. It's an experience to enter this tranquil property in such a manner...we certainly did and it didn't disappoint. Otherwise, the place offers a pick up service, where you will be personally escorted with your baggage by boat to the property's private pier. I've always dreamed of being whisked away to a private island with all the comforts, and this place brought that dream to fruition 🏝️🥭🥥 So grateful for such a unique experience, and we look forward to future visits!

Beautiful place, very impressed with the natural beauty which is what we were after. Excellent food and staff!! If you're looking for a 5 star hotel with all the luxuries not for you. If you want to experience about as close as you can get to Guatemala's nature and beauty and still be comfortable enjoy!!
