My overnight stay at Prasanthi hotel was quite honestly one of the best hotel experiences I've had in India. I asked for a quiet room and it was given with a smile. Everything was immaculate. The small things ... like a quiet ceiling fan and same for the AC. Windows you could open. Such a comfortable bed and everything super clean and well maintained. And did I mention beautiful. The furnishings and interior design. This will definitely be my choice of hotel when I return to Kollam. Thank you to all the staff.

It’s beautiful has a lake in front, and the sea it’s just crossing the road. The breakfast was delicious! I was super happy with the food and the stuff in the place. The owner has arranged a scooter for us as we wanted to go to the Varkala cliff and was amazing if one day I’ll go back to Kerala I’ll love staying here.

I was blessed that I ended up here. It is under new ownership and management. Not everything ready but everything has solution. I am female solo traveller. Felt completely comfortable and safe. Have a great single room with nice bathroom. Perfect for 1 person with simply divine view. When there was no yoga so they arranged for me 1-1 sessions on the dock. The food was delicious, authentic Keralan food. The staff were fantastic especially the manager Ravi. Very good at customer relations. The Ayurvedic massage was so superb I had another in my short 2 night trip. Next time I will take it to do much longer as the avyuredic treatments need a week. The therapist was so dedicated that in just2 treatments I felt a change. The location is sublime. So peaceful. So quiet. So pretty. Highly recommend. The yoga Shala was under short renovation but it looks to be a beautiful space to do yoga. A short 30 min auto tuk tuk to varkala beach and then back to serenity.

Located a bit off the Varkala town but at a very mesmerizing cliff, this stay provides everything you need for a trip to Varkala. Scooters were provided by the owner, if you inform him well in advance. Breakfast is provided for the booked mornings. The caretaker was very kind and down to earth, and if needed anything there was no second thought, we would get that. Owner would visit every morning with breakfast and suggest you the places around Varkala.
