CanadaIt was wonderful. Lovely hosts room was modern decorated, very comfortable and very clean. We didn’t have supper there as arriving late but if we stayed again would have supper, smelled delicious. Breakfast was lovely and gorgeous view of ocean from dining area and watched whales at breakfast. Amazing views.

United StatesThe staff was super friendly and let us know that there was a walk we could take down to the beach. This was one of the highlights of our trip as we saw whales and seals down at the beach and could walk to the famous rock. The hostel was very cozy and we were able to do laundry and also cook a meal.

We were lucky with the weather and had a room with a beautiful view of the sunset.
The room met all expectations of a "Budget twin bed room". The house was clean and had some charm.

We had a wonderful stay here. The hosts were friendly, helpful and informative and made us feel welcome. The other members of staff were all very good too. Our room was spacious, overlooking the beach and fjord, breakfast was tasty, the food locally sourced, and we would recommend having the three course evening meal prepared by the hosts. We would definitely like to return.

Absolutely beautiful hotel located right beside the ocean. The breakfast area is so wonderfully decorated and offers a massive window that provides incredible views of the ocean. Breakfast was fabulous; it included a wide variety of meats (included smoked salmon), jams, bread, cereal, etc. Our room was cozy with a very modern bathroom, a couch, and beautifully furnished. We really loved the attention to detail. All the staff were so friendly and inviting, it made us feel right at home.

Gorgeously decorated house with a beautiful view on the ocean. You really feel at home right away. The guesthouse offers a 3-course dinner that you have with all guests on one big table. The dinners is absolutely amazing! Fresh, healthy and all cooked with special care by the owner. The staff is really friendly and try to help you as much as possible. He even gave advice on road conditions and aurora forecast. The room and shared bathroom are very luxurious and clean. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We loved the seaside location. The dining room has a beautiful big window that looks out to the sea. We also really enjoyed the 3 course dinner using local Icelandic ingredients that you can opt into when you stay. We had seafood soup with dill, cod with Moroccan cous cous and chocolate cake with red currents. So delicious and memorable!
