We initially planned for a one-night stay, but extended it to 3 days, making this place the highlight of our Sri Lanka trip. The food, crafted by the owner, an exceptional chef, was outstanding, with a new daily menu based on the freshest market ingredients. Access to a pristine beach, often all to ourselves, offered unforgettable views. Comfortable rooms, excellent facilities, and the AC provided a reprieve from the heat. Generous hosts Thibal, Tatiana, and Charlotte catered to our needs, offering fresh fruit plates and complimentary drinks throughout our stay.

The place was super clean and the caretaker was so helpful and nice. We stayed there for two nights and it was comfortable and simply amazing.

The hosting family is really friendly and the location is also great. We stayed there for 1 night and had a really tasty breakfast in the morning. Their home is located just 10 minutes to the beach and very close to the mangrove. The family also offers a boat tour with their catamaran. If you want to stay at a sri lankan home, this place is perfect for you.

Excellent location, felt like a home away from home! Long Beach walks with very few people. Birdwatching in the morning. Team at the property is wonderful, kind and very accommodating.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Tanderra in Sri Lanka, which was an amazing experience. We were a party of 6 all female friends. From the moment we stepped foot onto the property, we were captivated by the sheer beauty and tranquility that surrounded us. The rooms were spacious, bright, and well maintained. Each bedroom was comfortable, featuring plush beds, high-quality linens, and 3 had breathtaking views of the ocean. The en-suite bathrooms were fitted with luxurious fixtures, rain showers, and quality products. One of the highlights of this villa was its indoor / outdoor living spaces. The expansive dining table was perfect for long lunches. It overlooked the pool at one side and the garden on the other. Really felt that it was inside outside living. The staff at the villa were exceptional in every way. They were warm, welcoming, and always went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met. From the moment we arrived, we received a personalized service that left a lasting impression. The private chef, Santha, prepared delectable meals, showcasing the finest flavors of Sri Lankan cuisine, and the attentive housekeeping staff Sampath and Darshana ensured that the villa was always in pristine condition. In conclusion, our stay at this amazing villa in Sri Lanka was nothing short of magical. It exceeded all our expectations in terms of luxury, beauty, and hospitality. If you're looking for a truly extraordinary experience amidst a tropical paradise, I wholeheartedly recommend this villa. We stayed here for two nights and it was a wonderful experience. First of all, the accommodation is wow in terms of location (you can see the ocean right from the bed); the room and bathroom are beautifully designed and very clean. The hosts were amazing—we really enjoyed chatting with Pasindu. They are very attentive and friendly, truly wonderful people. The breakfast was delicious, and we also had dinner here on both evenings; it was just as good. Thank you for everything!

Our stay was exceptional, I had the hotel almost entirely for myself. The pool is large and clean, with all services there. Room is incredibly comfortable, right into the beach, all rooms have a nice balcony. Hotel is super clean !!! Bed is huge and super soft and cozy, all services available including a mini bar in the room, fridge kettle and table. Shower is in on, sadly I didn’t get hot water but hair dryer, bathrobe and clean towels available All staff was very welcoming but Sangeewa the restaurant Capitán was amazing, he took care of us and suggested us menu options. Also in our last night he and the staff prepared a beautiful dinner table for us. The location is a bit isolated, therefore the hotel is perfect is excellent for an scape from chaos. Nights are very peaceful there The staff helped us the book some tours and rent a scooter to move around easily. Definitely my best stay in Sri Lanka +++ they sterilised the glasses for best hygiene purposes

Definitely a true gem from our Sri Lanka trip. The location is so beautiful and relaxing which makes it special and magical. Few steps in front of the house has long beach you can walk many kilometers just enjoying the nature. Everyone who works there is very kind. We also had a massage which we can really recommend. The room was beautiful, modern and clean and nicely decorated! Colors and ambient lights bring up the mood. The hospitality and the food were wonderful . The owner himself is involved with everything and food is exceptional. We would like to thank the whole team for their brilliant service and hope to see them again soon! It was an unforgettable stay!

We absolutely loved our stay here, with amazing views of the beach, the sound of the waves as we chilled during the day and really great food for breakast, lunch and dinner. We couldn't recommend this hotel more!

We really enjoyed our staying at this villa. It was clean and cozy. An ideal place for privacy. The beach was empty for kilometers in both directions. We felt like we were on a desert island. The owner was very helpful and quickly resolved all our questions. Hope to visit this beautiful place again 🤍

The staff were so lovely and attentive. The location was great to get away from it all, and the beach was quiet. A lovely villa, garden and pool and extremely well kept. The staff couldn’t do more for us, including Umesh who stayed over to make sure we got our taxi to the Whale watching trip at 4am!

His kindness and dedication were deeply appreciated by our entire family. We also couldn’t be happier with the culinary delights served at the villa. The chefs were incredibly attentive, meticulously honoring our food preferences and even ensuring the kids’ meals were just as delightful. Every dish was prepared to perfection, adding a tasty highlight to our daily routine. The villa itself was well kept, spotless, and comfortable. It provided a cozy haven where we could unwind after our daily adventures. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa with family, friends, and kids. The villa is cozy and perfectly located by the ocean, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of touristy areas. The swimming pool was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly, taking excellent care of us throughout our stay. The meals were delicious, with an amazing breakfast featuring local fruits and eggs cooked to our preference. For dinner, we could choose whatever we liked, and the home-cooked food was always satisfying. The helpers on the villa made our time there truly enjoyable. This is a great place for anyone looking for peace and quiet away from the crowds. However, I do agree with previous comments about the mattresses being a bit old and uncomfortable. It would be great if they could be replaced. Overall, a very enjoyable stay!

The fantastic balcony views, being so close to the crashing waves, right at a wild beach, the friendly staff, morning swims in the pool..... - I loved my stay here (last not least because I scored a good low season rate).

The resort felt peaceful and calm – ideal for unwinding. I loved that it wasn’t overcrowded like big hotels.

Great hotel, very close to nature, you are basically living in the forest but 20 meters from the ocean 🏝️ you can sleep with the ocean waves sound 🌊

I stayed at House - Ayurveda & Wellness for three days and the experience exceeded my expectations. The entire place is serene, beautifully maintained, and perfect for relaxation. The beachside is simply stunning, offering peace and quiet throughout the stay. The food was excellent, the swimming pool was refreshing, and the cleanliness of the property was flawless. What truly stood out was the exceptional service — the staff went above and beyond, making the stay feel warm and personalized.
