Very nice, quite place. No light pollution - see the stars, hear the owls. The place has all you realistically need. Nice Sauna. Even had coffee. Had a grill, with wood and fire fluid. Clean. Might come back for a longer stay which is a great compliment.

As guests who usually prefer firmer beds, we found the bed in the cabin a bit soft for our taste. However, we still slept very well and woke up feeling truly rested and refreshed in the morning. The host is warm and genuinely welcoming. He shared a bit about the property’s history, which added even more value to our experience here. It’s clear that there is genuine care and dedication invested in this place, making it feel truly special. I highly recommend visiting this place in every season to enjoy the beautiful views, whether from the cabin’s terrace or the dock by the lake. We had amazing holiday in a very beautiful place on the lake shore and picturesque forest with a lots of mushrooms around. Absolutely relaxing atmosphere and complete silence. small beach for swimming and bridges for jumping and descending into the water, boat for water walking and fishing. Very comfortable house with everything you need. unfortunately there was no dishwasher, but it was not so important. There are a fireplace, firewood, grill. In general, everything you need for a great holiday! Very welcoming and friendly owners!

Quick replies to all queries and positive responses. It was easy to find the property and someone met us to let us in. The cottage was very clean and well presented. The caretaker showed us around, explained how to use the fireplace and the sauna, and gave us good general information. The cottage was reasonably warm when we checked in (outside temp was -20) but I don't think the central heating had been on long, as it was warmer the next day. The kitchen had everything we needed. The surrounding area was beautiful, with the frozen lake a few hundred meters from the house and forest walks near by. The caretaker cleared the snow the next day to allow us to drive to Cesis.
