The location is amazing (like all the near islands). Stuff was super friendly and helpful. Great excursions. Great value for money. The hotel is basically a paradise. We would definitely come back.

This is an excellent place to stay if you want to be right on the water at a quiet and scenic beach with gorgeous sunsets and away from the main tourist drag. The room and bathroom were spacious. The breakfasts were good, though repetitive. I had several excellent dinners there from both the fixed menu and daily specials. The staff is very friendly, and I had several good conversations with one of the hosts (Belgian-Italian couple). Expats come there for meals and to soak up the sun. A local tour organizer is next door, and assisted me with several bookings to outer islands and Lokobe. Nosy Sakatia (giant sea turtles and snorkeling) is right offshore.

The location is exceptional. It’s on the “right side” of the Island where you will see the stunning sunsets daily. The staff will do anything to please you and make sure you have a wonderful vacation. The food is very delicious with only the best local ingredients. The restaurant is overlooking the waterfront and beach. The rooms are modern and very functional. We had a bungalow next to the water. Very nice bed. Air conditioning worked very well. We signed up for 3 tours the hotel offered. All reasonably priced. We visited the very famous island where the amazing sand dunes are. The turquoise water is surreal. We also had a great encounter with the wonderful lemurs. They include a bbq lunch on the beach. Most delicious sea food caught that morning. We also visited “Hell Ville” with a guide. The local market is not to be missed. Lastly we snorkeled with 8 huge turtles and lots of colorful fish. The hotel arranged a round trip transfer from the airport to the hotel. Around 40 USD each way per car. Very convenient. Travel time around 45 min each way.

The people at the property were so welcoming and friendly. They treated us like family. Always available to help. We took all our friends for dinner there over. The restaurant is amazing. Franco and Manuel were the friendliest people in Nosy Be. We will come back. The property is very clean

The place was very comfortable and we enjoyed our patio, kitchen, and the pool. There are several local women next to the hotel who were giving massages for about $7, and they were good. The food was excellent and we had fun with the staff Very friendly

We spent 19 nights travelling around Madagascar and Anki Lodge was hands-down our favourite place. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and always smiling – they really made us feel at home. But the absolute highlight was the food: honestly the best meals we had during the entire trip! Fresh, delicious, and full of flavour every single day. The lodge itself is set in a beautiful, peaceful environment with a lovely garden and a great swimming pool – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Special mention to the owner who is wonderful: warm, attentive and clearly passionate about making every guest’s stay special. If you’re visiting Nosy Be (or anywhere nearby), don’t think twice – stay at Anki Lodge. We can’t wait to come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The owner and the staff are extremely helpful, the balgalows and the common areas as nicely decorated and very clean, food was good too, not too far from the centre, and last but not least the internet was pretty good for Madagascar and there is even a nice studying corner where it was nice to work from some days that I needed to.

It was a wonderful opportunity to live away from the tourist noise. The house is set on a large, lushly blooming property bordering a mangrove forest. Birds sing here day and night, and in the morning you can watch them from the terrace. Three cheerful dogs and two cats live on the grounds, along with many bright Phelsuma geckos. A 10-minute tuk-tuk ride takes you to Andilana Beach, with cafés and amazing underwater life. The neighbors rent out electric bikes, which are great for getting to the beach. I had my own bicycle, and it felt absolutely safe here. Alexander is a great cook, and there are several nearby places where you can have breakfast or dinner. He has two rooms in a beautiful house with a shared bathroom, and a separate bungalow. The bungalow is quite simple, but it offers an incredible view of the sunset. Highly recommended if you prefer peace and authenticity over noisy, touristy places.

It’s a place where you can really relax, rest, and take full advantage of you holiday in Nosy Be. It’s peaceful and quiet, clean, well managed and you will experience some of the best sunsets in the whole Madagascar. They also help you with everything you need, advice on excursions, meals, transfers. Staying in one of the huts was beautiful and you get to wake up with a great view over the sea and the mangroves.
