This property in the San Juan del Sur area (nice quiet beach 5 minutes drive from town) is a little oasis, just steps from the beach. It has a pool in the center of it, so you just walk out of your room and get this lovely feeling. Rooms are lovely, spacious, clean, fresh, elegant and soooo quiet! There is a cute palapa with an open bar and kitchen so staff is always available (btw, staff was so friendly, attentive and professional!) Food was delicious! Caprese sandwich, highly recommended! If you are looking for a place where you disconnect, rest, enjoy quiet walks on the beach, eat well and reset, this place is for you. We already booked our stay for next winter!

The location of Hotel Marea was amazing. The beach is very close and very nice, with a few restaurants to choose from for meals. The hotel is trendy and it was great to have access to basic kitchen facilities.

This Place is incredible. The room are tastefully decorated, beds are super comfortable, the linens impeccable. Everything was very clean, the staff is super friendly. The yoga room on the top floor is insane with big windows overlooking the beach and the misty cloud forest. (My kids were able to run around and blow off some steam in the yoga space during a rainy afternoon - definitely something that we didn’t expect to have such a great impact). The food is definitely above average for a secluded place with fair prices, you can even preorder fresh fish the day before! There’s free water and a coffee station too. The pool includes a kids pool as well, which was great! The beach is reachable by foot and less than five minutes away. We had the beach for ourselves during week days. You can discover tropical birds, monkeys and frogs on the property as well, there even was a brochure explaining which animals you can spot - also something that was just a fun thing to do which we didn’t expect 😁 Definitely would recommend to stay here as a family when there are no retreats ongoing, 10 out of 10!

Casa Elio was a lovely stay. Hamed was a great host! The location is amazing - you have a beautiful view over the entire San Juan Del Sur bay which is nice to look at day & night. Hamed made sure we always had breakfast - which was locally sourced fruit, bacon and eggs with coffee. Hamed made us feel at home and was very friendly often checking in on us to see if we needed anything. He was very knowledgeable about the local area and gave us great recommendations. There is a pool on the bottom floor which was nice to take a dip in to cool off after a long day of adventure. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're unsure.

Felix and Sayonara were great hosts and we had a fabulous discussion with them about everything San Juan Del Sur. Our time was relaxing and they went above and beyond by cooking breakfast, which was unexpected as it wasn't included in the stay. The location is great. It's a block from the beach and there's a Cafe on the corner close by. It is walking distance from the market and many other restaurants. The accommodations were perfect for what we needed. The bed was comfortable and there was 4 pillows on the bed, 2 per person, making it more to my liking. The attached bathroom is private and towels were provided. The place was clean and up to expectations in that regard. The common area is an open air second floor space that had rockers and a hammock to lounge in. I would stay here again.

Great location - close to beach and restaurants with a balcony to view beautiful sunsets. Laundry service was included with the condo (I really needed it!). The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Beautiful home in a great location. It's very modern with a gorgeous view of the jungle and bay. I felt like I was living in a tree house overlooking the green canopy of the jungle. Very close to the beach...maybe a 15 minute walk. It had a washer, dryer and a fantastic gas stove with, I think, 6 burners. It also has 2 bathrooms, one upstairs and one down. Overall a really beautiful home in San Juan del Sur. Justin, the property manager, was really helpful as well. He answered our questions quickly and in a friendly professional manner. All good 👍
