We absolutely loved both our stay and dives with Shark's Tail Resort. The divemasters (Nichael was ours he was amazing) and boat crew were all fun & had a good time with us while encouraging good diving practices. It was apparent that they care for preserving the sharks and the reefs. The boat was the nicest I saw in Malapascua. The resort was also lovely to stay at, really friendly staff and great restaurant/bar to hang out at. Recommend highly.

Good location, beach front, comfy bed, friendly and helpful staff, near with everything, they have live band in the front restaurant from 7pm til 11 or 12, the owner loves the stray dog which I like. I love the dogs around. They are so nice! And great resto and cafe around the area.

This is the place you must stay when staying in Malapascua! Everything is super lux and detailed with great love. The staff are tops and the beachfront vibes are spectacular.

Amazing place and wonderful people who made me feel like a part of a family. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Close to the port and right next to the beach. Quiet at night, a perfect place to disconnect and rest. Internet connection is good. It allowed me to have video calls. Has a shared kitchen so you can prepare your own meals. But try their delicious food at the vegetarian/vegan restaurant Villa Potenciana. There are not many places I'd love to come back to, but this one is definitely one of them. The staff is incredible, the room was very big, clean and comfortable. The hotel has a nice beach with sun beds. There are a bar and a restaurant with a very wide choice of drinks and food.

Stayed in a superior deluxe room with private bathroom. and inverter air conditioner The place was very quit and super clean, private bathroom. Breakfast was included. Staff friendly and responsive.

I really enjoyed my stay at this capsule hotel in Malapascua! The property is very new , everything is clean, modern, and fully functioning. The capsule rooms are super cool and comfortable, and I was actually able to sleep really well. I especially loved the restobar area, it’s the perfect spot to hang out or get some work done. The place feels so cozy, and the music sets such a relaxing vibe that you might just end up wanting to nap there 😄 It’s the kind of place that makes you feel instantly at ease. The capsule rooms are well thought out too. They have separate bathrooms for men and women, which are always very clean. The water pressure is great (no issues at all!), though there’s no hot shower, but honestly, the weather’s so nice that it didn’t matter much. Their Wi-Fi runs on Starlink, so the connection is fast and reliable, perfect if you need to work or just stay connected. The staff were all super kind and accommodating, and the owner is very hands-on with his business, which really shows in the way everything is managed. The location is also great, it’s close to the beach, and near several restobars and stores, so everything you need is just a short walk away. My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here; everything was convenient, relaxing, and worth it. Highly recommended! 🌴✨

The staff were accommodating. Breakfast was sumptuous. The resort really gives off that zen feel. We had a lovely short stay, and we would totally be back.

I had an awesome week in my little bungalow. The private beach to go snorkeling is perfect, and staff really take care of it. At night it is quiet and the room is spacious and airco works well. The bathroom is a good size, and the shower is great. The matras is more on the older side, but still I slept really well. There is instant coffee in the room, and the mini fridge is filled with drinks. The breakfast buffet is basic, but it has everything you would want. In general, food on the island anywhere ranges from 'meeeeeeh' to 'urgh', so I enjoyed breakfast even more. There are a lot of steps to walk up and down, which might be a challenge for some. All in all I very much enjoyed my stay! Would recommend and I would come back!

Close to the beach, had really good restaurant, the dives were fair value but not the cheapest but still convenient, the owner was super friendly. Best value for divers who want to sit at the beach in my opinion.

They had a live band in the restaurant on our first night, which made for a terrific ambiance, and we really enjoyed this. Also, the food at the restaurant is excellent quality. I love their variety of their menu and made a point of trying many different options. All of them were executed very well. So much so that we ended up eating every meal here. We never did try any of the other restaurants on the island because of this. Really, really good! Air conditioning and hot water worked well (once the heater was turned on). The room was clean, spacious, with a nice balcony, the beds were comfortable, and we slept very well. The beach in front of the hotel is stunning, and from what I could see, it's the nicest swimming spot on the island. It is truly a paradise! The entire property is beautiful, actually. I love the plants around and the general asthetics of the hotel. Even though there are a few points of improvement, overall, we did really enjoy our stay here, would happily return, and I can confidently recommend it as an excellent option. Of the 5 hotels we stayed at in the Philippines, this was our favorite. As it should be, however, considering it was also the most expensive one (expensive by local standards). From what I saw, it must be the nicest hotel on the island.

The ambiance, the atmosphere, the food, the beach and the staff. Avila's is great if you want to relax and enjoy the peaceful vibe of beach life. Best for those that want to escape city life. The scenery and the beach is beautiful and calming, super relaxing.

I like the place , it’s very relaxing and accessible. The staffs are all accommodating and approachable. Which it gives more comfy feelings to those who check in.

Absolutely wonderful dive resort. The rooms are wonderful and beds comfortable. Staff is fabulous both at resort and restaurant. Food was delicious. Highly recommend!!

Location. Beach front. Staff is very accommodating. My sister went scuba diving with them and was offered discount since we are their guests.

The breakfast is very good with a lot of different options. The room is basic but ok. The food here is amazing, so tasty and cheap!!!
