The location is wonderful, and the staff are genuinely warm and welcoming. The cabin is clean, comfortable, and situated very close to the sea, making it an incredibly calm and relaxing place to stay. The young couple who run the resort are especially friendly and always ready to help with anything you need. The food is also excellent, adding to the overall great experience.

Tommy and Ma Meaw were outstanding and welcoming hosts! They created a warm and communal atmosphere every day, making it easy for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The weekly BBQs and occasional food nights were thoughtful additions, and the bar area—with unlimited beer and spirits—was absolutely amazing. I had an unforgettable time!

The location was ideal right on the beach. Bang Bao Beach is pretty remote so it’s not walkable to other areas of the island even the pier. The staff were helpful and friendly.

This place is a real gem my girlfriend and I have returned several times. Located on the best beach of Koh Chang a stylish decorated boutique hotel right on the beach . The place is owned by Luc and Nid ( Nid is the one doing all the work ) although Luc is busy all the time . This charming couple make the beach cafe what it is . Friendly staff great food that is very very reasonably priced and spacious clean rooms with awesome showers and great WiFi . If you don’t get a chance to stay at the hotel because they are booked most of the time , I would definitely stop by to have a meal or drink

Sits on the best beach on Ko Chang, but surprising not that many people know about it! The beach was not ever crowded and there are so many places to sit and lounge out. The food was really good and the staff was really friendly. The room was clean, the WiFi worked really well, and there air con was strong. Great view from the lake view room.

Everything is perfect. Clean and untouched nature

We loved our stay at mayas guest house, we stayed in the upstairs room with bathroom. You get your own patio with hammocks, tables and chairs with a beautiful view of the ocean. And in front of the house is a private beach with chairs and umbrellas. Also a kayak to use for free, two amazing restaurants on either side aswell. Would stay again and recommend

I liked about it everything and mostly hospitality and kindness of the hosts Ms. Lek and her husband. Their cheerful and welcoming personalities made my stay and the trip unforgettable. In addition, the place has a superb location. It is close to a beach but located in the forest. Sometimes I felt like I was sleeping in the middle of a jungle with all jungle sounds, beautiful plants, and monkeys running around. There is no question that if I go back to Koh Chang I will choose to stay at beachbox again.

The best part of the experience was the peaceful and natural environment surrounding the resort. The lush greenery, beautiful beach, modern swimming pool and tranquil atmosphere made it a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. The sound of the water and the chirping of birds created a soothing ambiance that allowed us to fully relax and recharge.

Location - facilities everything

Location is perfect for exploring the southern end of Koh Chang. View from the large patio is hard to beat. Hi quality touches and fixtures in the nicely kept spacious apartment.

If you love nature, a simple quiet room, waking up to a beautiful view and visits from cheeky monkeys, this place is highly recommended. We loved our 2 week stay, sitting in the hammock, doing yoga in the big terrace and feeling close to nature. A was very helpful, provided drinking water and when we needed also toilet paper and clean towels and bed linen. If you are coming with your dog, like us, just note that there are many soy dogs and flies, so we recommend walking only on the paved paths and closing the gate. It was all great, once we learned how to handle this. 

I can’t really put into words just how amazing this place is. Just book it! Come here. And you’ll never want to leave. In all my travels so far. This one is hard to beat. From arriving and being greeted like family. The cold water and fruit plate as soon as you get there. To the MOST amazing bed! Honestly it’s out of this world. Spotlessly clean all the time. Sitting on the verandah watching the soaring eagles every morning while eating breakfast. It’s a different world down on the pier. Literally the most peaceful place on the island. Book it. You won’t regret it x

Location was great - restaurant and pool area was fantastic. Free bikes and kayaks. Great food and 100B happy hour cocktails 4-6pm Lots of cute animals - dogs, cats, tortoise, monkeys

The view is amazing , the place is really quiet and very nice

The guesthouse is great, feels like being in the jungle, lots of birds around, flowers ,cats and dogs. Beautiful and unique rooms with fans, loved the screens in the windows, lets the fresh air come in at night. Very calm and cozy. I would go back anytime!!!

The huts (rented a hut with pool view) are located in a small neighborhood just 100m away from the 1 main road of the whole island. Room has everything you need and so does the neighborhood (restaurants, small mini markets, laundry shop, massages and possibility to rent scooters). I had an issue with the toilet and they moved me directly to another similar hut and made sure that I was happy with the new hut. As my hut was located next to the hotel bar I was scared of having 0 sleep, but they close the bar and stop the music well before bedtime (just keep the bar in mind in case you want to do a powernap during the day). The pool wad awesome with a direct view on the sea.
