This room was exceptional and the staff were soo nice. It was a spacious and gorgeous room that felt very clean with our own bathroom whci was a very pleasant surprise for a hostel - would recommend this place to absolutely anyone that asks!! location was great too with easy access to the whole town and they had the most stunnning pool with incredible views 100000/10

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable, nice space and you have your own cage to put your stuff. The shower is really nice as well.

The rooms were incredible with their picture perfect view of the water and private-like feel. The staff was incredibly kind and happy. Everything we needed was right there for us.

Beautiful resort with romantic, quiet and rural atmosphere. Very good continental and Thai breakfast. The restaurant also serve delicious lunch and dinner. Comfortable king size bed in a spacious room with frontline ocean views. Amazing views for sunset at the pool, which also has a jacuzzi and is big enough for enjoying swimming. The spa and gym was also very good.

The location was perfect, close to everything but not in the messiness of sairee beach. Lovely, quiet and chill atmosphere. Neat cleaned.

This was our first visit to Koh Tao and the location of the Montra Resort was perfect. It was right on the beach and close to the main area where a lot of shops and restaurants are, so it was easy to walk to most places when needed. The pool is great and with lots of loungers, it was the perfect place to relax for the day. The rooms very big and spacious and lots of cupboard space and a huge comfortable bed. The staff were amazing and the resort offers free transfers from and to the main pier where the ferry's are. The day we left they even sent extra staff to help carry our bags to the check in at the pier, amazing service. The resort has a resident diving school that can arrange all your diving needs, we used their services for a full day snorkeling trip around the island. This was in a "long tail" boat that was dedicated to us for the day and they took us to all the best sites to snorkel at, it was the highlight of our holiday.

The location with a calm bay is perfect; it's very quite & peaceful staying here for a couple days. There are also many wild birds around the garden; and I love the smell in the air of this place. The room is also clean, spacious & comfortable. You can have many open places to breathe the air; the pool is awesome & the private beach is also worth the value.

Nice hotel, a little bit far from the beach ( around 15 min walking) but really good and clean room and the staff was really helpful. I highly recommend it😀

This property is located on the Walking Street Road of Tao, close to many restaurants and spa services. It features a sea-facing restaurant and a lovely pool area to relax and unwind. They also provide drop-off services to the pier for return boat rides. The pier is conveniently located at a walkable distance of around 1.2 km from the property.

We were overall very happy with our stay at Emerald Gulf Hotel. The rooms are beautifully designed, comfortable, and well equipped with daily amenities. The bed was especially comfy, and everything felt clean and well maintained throughout our visit. It’s important to note that the rooms are located on the mountainside, so getting anywhere outside the room involves quite a few stairs—up or down. It wasn’t a dealbreaker for us, but it’s something to consider if you prefer easy access or have mobility concerns. Also the roads don't have any safety rails installed. The room itself was clean, and the staff were attentive and helpful—sometimes even assisting us with getting to our room. Overall, despite a few small surprises, we had a pleasant stay and appreciated the design, comfort, and kind service.

The staf very helpful to organize day trips. On departure day could use reception showers 10hours after check in and divo us back to the pier and helped us board our night ferry with the best *possible) places. So vlosevto the beach, so clise to bars and restaurants, charming bungalows, Very good experience. Highly recommended.

We loved everything about Tanote Resort. Our room with its ensuite bathroom and terrace was spacious, clean and comfortable; the swimming pools were super enjoyable and the view over the Tanote Bay and its surroundings was absolutely stunning. The staff was amazing, friendly and welcoming; most come from Myanmar in search for a more hopeful future. A very BIG THANK YOU to all of them for making out stay so special; three brilliant days; what a treat! A side note on the food served at the resort which has been criticized in some reviews. As far as we are concerned, we found breakfast and the food served in the evening excellent. Overall, this is a stay we will remember. We will be back!

Beautiful room, very comfy. everything we needed was with in a 30 minute walk but most of the time we only had to walk 15 minutes. Everything worked perfectly and we always had changed garbages and clean towels. Staff was very nice and helpful. They also had a nice cafe downstairs and filled our water bottles for us. Highly recommend!

Clean, good location, beachfront plus walking street

Tropicana Resort on Kho Tao is one of my happy places in all the world. It's set around a tropical shady garden. The staff are lovely and it's only steps from the beautiful beach on Baan Chalok Bay. There is a terrific yoga studio near the street and it's a perfect place to relax and recharge. This is the chill section of the island and you can loan a complimentary snorkel and googles to explore whilst you are there. I have been here four times and will definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing stay.
