Beach Hotels in Ko Raeng

This rustic all wood and bamboo place is super chilled, and the staff are so friendly. There's just a handful of clean fan rooms with a mosquito net. The rooms seem to be a new addition to the bar. Basic, but comfortable room with a dirt floor....But it IS a cheap private room for those who are bored of dormitories. The common bathroom even had a hot shower. Toilet paper and towel supplied. There's a kettle where u can make your own BYO morning drink. Excellent WiFi. It's a bit of a walk from the ferry, but you can easily make it, avoiding the transport sharks, who really are sharks on this island. Excellent place to stay for the right people.

The view is amazing and the staff super nice.

The service was perfect and the two pools are lovely. Large variety at the breakfast. Many restaurants can be reached by taxi which are parked in front of the hotel. Access to the public beach and bars/massage is also possible.

The hotel is very beautiful and the food is very good. The pool is super. It is quiet but not boring.

This was exactly what we needed after a few sweaty nights in the jungle on another island. Cozy and cool room. AMAZING pool. Fantastic food and drink right on the beach. And it's quiet. The owners were so AMAZING and KIND. We chatted with them a lot and loved their restaurant suggestion so much we went two nights in a row. This was the perfect place to just RELAX. Also a great spot on the island. Not far from the pier and at the end of the beach so not a lot of people walking by. Highly recommend.

Such a great hotel! We stayed somewhere else much further south for most of our stay and had we not been locked into that reservation, I think we would have came here for longer. The room was nice and clean with a little terrace overlooking a field. This part of town is quiet and it seems that locals live around here. The quiet is so nice, we listened to the crickets chirping as we fell asleep and woke up. What makes this hotel stand out and go above and beyond is the kindness of the owners. They were extremely accommodating and so kind throughout our stay. We had the opportunity to talk with the one owner a few times as we left and came the hotel. He engaged in conversation beyond just how our day was and if we need anything, asking where we had gone and where we will go so that we could talk about how we liked it. It was so nice and personable! It feels like the owners opened the hotel to connect with travelers and they really care. He brought us a plate of fresh fruit in the morning. We talked about how we were checking out at 7am the night before so he did this at 6:55am!! We were really surprised. We had also said we were walking to the pier for our morning ferry. Shortly into the walk he drove up to us and drove us there. It was so kind!! In my experience, the best places are those with kind and thoughtful owners and staff. And this is exactly how I would describe this place. The kindest and most thoughtful owners who take your stay to the next level. Thank you both so much! We hope to see you in the future.

Accommodations were immaculate and comfortable, location ideal, beautiful pool(s), outstanding breakfast and service all around, top notch.

The beach just on doorstep, the staff were wonderful, the food was delicious. Definitely worth the value for money. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Property and room: Although it is a little outdated and older, the upkeep, maintenance and cleanliness was really great. You could see them taking so much care to keep everything nice and tidy. Room was cleaned every single day and water + toiletries provided. AC was also really nice. Really good pool and views. Quiet surroundings but the main road is easily accessible. Staff: such lovely caring people, working each day to make sure we're happy, arranging tours, transfers and rentals with a big smile and lots of authenticity. Breakfast: international stuff was pretty basic but really decent. They had also this breakfast and that changed every day so lots of variety In short: We had such a great time at the salatan resort. The owner and her staff are such caring people and are working hard to make it a memorable stay. Thank you so much for the warmth and love. Will definitely book again if we go to Koh lanta! 10/10

Great for families with kids. Clean and nice. Close to beach, store, mainstreet and chef chalong- a great resturant.

This was an amazing family stay for a week. 2 great pools, one of them right on the beach. The family bungalow was the biggest room we have had in 2 months of travel through Vietnam and Thailand (with great beds and big bathroom too!) it was lovely having a veranda with drying rack. The breakfast offerings were incredible: made-to-order eggs, buffet with ham, beans, and several Thai dishes each day. Juice, fresh fruit, cereal and toast stations plus fruit salad and yogurt bowls. Don’t forget the coffee machine! A very convenient location to explore the immediate area and the pier with shops and market. With rental scooters we were able to explore the entire island during our stay. The staff were very helpful, friendly and keen to ensure everything about our stay was great! The on-site spa was wonderful for relaxing services during the hottest part of the day. We would come back!

Big well designed room. Hotel is right on the beach with really good restaurants close.

Lovely scenery of the ocean. Huge balcony. Nice display of morning breakfast buffet. Nice room. Pool was great. Minus tide in the morning and evening so you can walk way out there. Lots of shopping and restaurants near by. We stayed 3 days. Took a great snorkeling tour out to Koh Rok and Koh Ha.

The owner lady is the nicest owner that we had in Thailand, she is so sweet and very helpful.

Close to the Main Street , and Taxi service. We loved everything about the accommodations.

The location and staff were great!

This is a newer hostel, directly on the main street in Koh Lanta, so restaurants and 7-11 are walkable. The owner is incredibly kind and hospitable. He also runs a motorbike rental next door, which has very fair prices. They have food and coffee/tea for purchase downstairs and even have a laundry service (affordable). The air con in the rooms works well, and there are tow balconies and a front porch for smokers and hanging out. Most mornings, there are street vendors directly outside, too!

Chaba Bungalows is a fantastic place to stay right on the beach, which made the experience extra special. The bungalows are simple, clean and comfortable, and the setting is peaceful and relaxing. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and they can easily organise tours and travel arrangements, including airport pick-up from Krabi, which made everything hassle-free. A great spot to unwind and enjoy Koh Lanta — highly recommended.

The bed is super comfy! There's a great Greek restaurant nearby, and it's only a 3-minute walk to the beach. Just ignore Google Maps, it's actually a little longer than it says. The path is right next to the Lemonade Boutique.

In front of the beach, the location is fantastic. Close to supermarkets, bars, restaurants. The staff is also super friendly and nice.
