AbkhaziaWe discovered Alya Residence almost by chance, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the beauty of the property, its peaceful atmosphere, and the attention to detail throughout.
The Alma Suite is spacious, bright, and elegantly decorated. The bed is extremely comfortable, and everything has been thoughtfully designed to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
The common areas are a real highlight. We spent some lovely moments playing billiards and enjoying the board games provided, all in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The swimming pool is also very pleasant and impeccably maintained.
Breakfast was generous, varied, and carefully prepared. We were able to choose the menu that suited us best, and it was even served directly in our suite at our preferred time.
A special thank you to Saloua for her warm welcome, availability, and valuable recommendations throughout our stay. The staff was always present when needed while remaining discreet and professional.
If you are looking for a peaceful and refined place to stay in Gammarth, Alya Residence is an excellent choice. We leave with wonderful memories and hope to return very soon.

NetherlandsWhat a beautiful place! The pool is wonderful, it feels like your own private haven, the lobby extremely well maintained. The room we took was massive, well ventilated, and just super beautiful. Aziz was a wonderful manager - make sure you keep him, playing with our little one, bringing him the resident turtles, and generally helping us with anything we need. We liked the unit so much that we extended by a day.

TurkeyThe host Raouf was so one of a kind and really made me felt like home. Do not expect the place like a hotel. Sidi bou Said does not have 5 star hotels but this place is like your summer house. Decorated with classical furnitures and elegantly artistic details. The rooms are specious, clean and beautiful. It is just 3 mins walk away from the center. We also exchanged with Raouf about cultures and the history of Sidi bou Said during breakfasts. One of my favourite stays as solo traveller.

CanadaWhere do I begin to describe the drive up the hill upon a grand adorable surprise! We did not imagine our boutique Dar La Menara would be a gem resting on the top of a hill… as the meaning for the property, truly a sunrise and sunset beacon upon Sidi Bou Said, Tunis, and The Mediterranean Ocean.
It was as though the staff were patiently awaiting our arrival, big smiles and wide open arms as Samir, Wiem, and Zainab greeted us.
Quickly we met Karim, completing the front line team, explaining the Dar, the amenities, and our glorious room. This was the end of our 16 day educational trip on Tunisia, its culture and rich history of Islam and how Tunis was and continues to be the leader in helping Africa shine bright!
Breakfast was simply adorable, just as perfect as the hotel. Every morning you are greeted with those same true smiles from Samir, Wiem, and Zainab. You have so many options to sit just about anywhere to enjoy the skyline views while you have your coffee, tea, juice, and breakfast. Whether the room, the breakfast solarium, or down by the heavenly swimming pool. Eventually you will find Mohammad running around with the other staff ensuring everything is in tip top condition!!! And of course, the chief Murad is working hard to make sure everything is business as usual, will always make time for good conversation, and just like his team, he has plenty of valuable information to share about Tunis.
Must not forget to mention the amenities… the cleanliness is so comforting after a busy trip and many hot temperature days! The housekeeping staff such as Taouse always around to ensure your room was quickly tidied up within a blink of an eye, she is so quick and amazing!
The local bus, and train are barely 7 minutes walking distance from the property. The transit system is old… but it works, it’s adorably affordable, and the passengers are all helpful to ensure you are going in the right direction!

A wonderful hotel with a homely atmosphere 15 minutes walk from the city beach. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, there are no problems with water and air conditioning. The girls who run the hotel are very friendly and always eager to help. The food is no frills, but very fresh and tasty, there are alcoholic drinks, although at a fairly high price.

A truly remarkable and unforgettable Maison d'Hotes! Extraordinary and thoughtful architecture, breathtaking rooftop sunsets, wonderful breakfasts and an amazing host. . .we started with a tour of the house/hotel before we went to our rooms, which was unexpected and superb! The location is excellent in La Marsa - easy to find, close to interesting shops/cafes/beach - loads to do in walking distance - loved it!

The owner was very helpful and kind, we felt at home and we felt he cared for clients which is obviously helping in making one comfortable at this place. The breakfast was good with bread, pastries, hot and cold drinks, eggs and veggies/fruits. The hotel is by the sea so it makes it easy to go to the beach from the pool. Also, it’s adult only which is great for a relaxing stay.

The room was comfortable and the sea view was lovely to wake up to. It’s literally right on the beach, so I swam every day, and walk along the beach a few times to the town. The owners of the guest house were really helpful, and their restaurant recommendations were on point.

Beautiful beachside villa, nice and modern rooms. Lovely decoration. Has a big pool and literally 2 steps into the ocean. Very charming, helpful and fluent English speaking host. By far the best out of the 6 hotels we stayed in during 2 weeks in Tunesia.
