The host was amazing, she even showed us the old buildings and talked about the area, but from a food and culture perspective. She showed us the main building and the water power generator. The facilities are great, the beds were good, yet the beds on the "first floor" are worn and could use a replacement soon.

We liked everything. The location is perfect, right in the center of Bogense, and there is a designated parking spot. Our room was clean, cozy and comfortable and there was a nice kitchen next door which was great. Freddy, the host, put an American flag in front of the entrance, a nice welcome. He was so kind, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was a typical Danish spread, very nice, and we ate upstairs in a beautiful room filled with sunlight. The very best thing for us at this property was to be able to relax and enjoy the beautiful garden. Pictures below.

Super cool manor house from a bygone era. Extremely well kept & beautiful inside as outside. Stay worth every nickel. Owners are truly nice as well.

Very friendly and welcoming host. Newly done room, large and clean. Bathroom top, walk-in shower. Huge garden. Super rich breakfast. Everything was great. Next time on the island I'll book again.
