My stay at Lavana truly gave "island paradise" vibes. Staying here during the "soft opening" phase gave me a chance to disconnect and enjoy the beachfront + coconut tree views on my own private patio. You can see the sunrise through your window and it's just a short walk up the beach to see the sunset. The local indonesian dishes are delicious and varied, with lots of veggies :). Personally I found information on the internet about getting to/from Una-una a bit difficult/out of date, but just reach out to the resort and they'll give you all the info you need! Last but definitely not least the diving and snorkeling here is amazing! The resort managers are also dive guides/instructors, and you can reach the famous "Black Forest" corals from shore! Ditte showed me some really cool nudibranches -- if the tides are right, make sure you do a night dive too!

Everyone was really welcoming when we arrived. There is a nice jetty from where you can jump into the water and go snorkeling. Also they offer diving and my Diveinstrucor Jay was really patient. The food was really good and it was nice to meet all the other guests for the meals. It’s a cozy place with not a lot around (but that’s the Togeans in general).

Hotel is about 15 minute drive from the airport. Room was big with lots of space, and had an excellent view of Luwuk and the ocean. There was also a desk and chair as well as a small sofa. Lots of space for luggage and belongings. Was quiet except when people were passing by in the hallway. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Shower had great pressure and lots of hot water. Robes and slippers provided in the room. Staff were all very nice and helpful. Convenience store just down the hill as well as a couple restaurants and Kilo beach.

Swiss-Belinn Luwuk has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, a garden and bar in Luwuk. This 3-star hotel offers babysitting service and luggage storage space.

The staff was lovely and helpful. The beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. There was some general maintenance needed around the hotel and in bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent.

Great location, feels like paradise through and through. Amazing coral reefs everywhere, and just such a remote and relaxing place. Bring a book and forget about the world for a few days. We loved the staff and the island puppy named Sambo.
