The breakfast was good. We enjoyed the local foods. The place was beautifully restored and you could see that a lot of care and attention was taken. It was very quiet and peaceful and the surroundings were serene. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Everything about 舊事民宿 was wonderful. The location is a bit remote, but still within a comfortable walking distance of convenience stores and restaurants. Of course, the views of the Kinmen Bridge and the sunsets were stunning. What truly made my three‑day visit to Kinmen memorable, however, was the graciousness and generosity of the host and hostess. They picked me up from the airport, guided me to local attractions, offered homemade and local dishes, and even acted as my personal tour guides. Listening to their personal stories gave me insights into the people, culture, and politics of Kinmen—perspectives that cannot be captured through a camera lens or experienced in group tours. The location is amazing, very close to Oucuo beach and a short drive to Jincheng. Also, even though I didn't speak chinese, the host responded in English to my questions once I asked for help. The place was so, so cozy! I loved the music setup, the furniture, books, and everything.
