Food, atmosphere and personality

We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Phoenix recently, and we were really impressed. The breakfast was superb - the quality and variety of the food was remarkable, and we were under impression it was all locally and organically grown. The service was also top-notch. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly polite and accommodating. But what really made our stay memorable was our host, Mark. Although he is the manager of the hotel, he really went out of his way to ensure our comfort. His communication skills are excellent, and he made us feel like valued guests. What sets Hotel Phoenix apart is its unique blend of comfort and warmth. It doesn't feel like typical hotel, you can tell they genuinely care about their guests' experience. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay during our trip. A big thank you to Mark and the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable!

Great breakfast, very clean a short walk from town

The room was very clean and comfortable! Jenny, the pension owner and receptionist, is a very good person and she was really helpful.. she gave me some information regarding places to visit and helped me find a ride to the metkovic bus station! she is a very kind person! God bless you, Jenny, and all your family!

Wonderful caring family well managed property

It was a very nice location. We were walking in nature when taking the paths to the Main Street. There were fig trees, grapes, blackberry bushes, lime trees, kiwi trees olive oil bushes. Beautiful scenic route going to the property. At night the sheep would come across the pathway to graze on the grass. There were hens close by as well. Loved the rock walls.

It is located across the street from St James, literally a few minutes walk. Also, it's in the heart of the shops and restaurants, perfect location. The place is clean, comfortable beds, great breakfast; but most of all, the owner is so attentive, helpful and joyful. The best hospitality I have ever had in a hotel. Thank you Mate

The stay was perfect, the room very comfortable, the best shower and the breakfast out of mind. Great peace. Staff very friendly. The location is just nearby the starting point of the Appereances Mountain.

The owner did beyond of normal assistance , it’s like you had a relative to visit in there.

Great place for value. Very hospitable hosts that made us feel welcomed that we felt like at home . Kravice waterfalls are 20 min drive and medjugorje 7 min drive . Overall great place to stay and for everybody

Easy walking distance to St. JACOB/JAMES church. Enjoyed observing many beautiful sunsets from room's window. Convenient access to supermarkets, pharmacies, cafes, post office. Lovely landscape all around the property. Tranquil location. Appreciate the shared kitchen which is equipped with electric kettle, tea kettle, stovetop, toaster, microwave oven, fridge, and a plentiful supply of cookware. Helpful and courteous hosts. Fabulous place to stay in Medugorje.

The host was great! He went out of his way to help our every need. Very close to apparition hill and st James church.

Fantastic location, very close to the Church, only a couple of minites walk. Staff very friendly. Room spotless clean and had everything we needed for our trip. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

The owners were so lovely and not only was the location central and very convenient (across the street from the main church) it was the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed at and I had the best sleep ever in a hotel! Highly recommend.

The property is spacious and very close to the shrine. Had a good breakfast. Customer care is excellent. I would stay here again when I visit this place.

Guesthouse Mts is very close to St James Church, bakery and grocery stores. It is clean, well kept, has heat, and the owners are very nice and helpful,
