A fantastic place in beautiful surroundings. I most admit I became more and more skeptical the longer I drove through the tiny, dark, foggy, winding Belgian village roads on a February evening, but then suddenly I was there - and it was certainly worth it.Madame Anne Pascale h early welcomed me and my Golden Retriever and showed me my very impressive two room apartment with a huge balcony. Fireplace was full on and everything was amazing and cozy. Next morning when I saw the surroundings I was even more impressed- I could have stayed for a week.

The beauty of the house is at the same time outstanding and blends in very well with the charming village of Gembes. It has modern facilities and is decorated with exceptional taste and an eye for detail. Frédéric is incredibly welcoming and always goes above and beyond. It's hard to describe what a great host he is. A great conservationalist, but never overbearing. The breakfast he served was always a great start to the day.

Natalie was very friendly and prepared us vegan options for breakfast! Please let her know your diet preference in advance :) Her pets are all calm and friendly. At breakfast, we had a great session of bird watching. Her husband Vincent is a excellent nature photographer.
