The apartment was lovely, really nicely appointed, warm and cosy, very comfortable beds and good to have a decent sitting room space. Breakfast was very nice, overlooking the sweet garden with lots of birds flitting about. The breakfast room had a large wood burning stove, so although it was December, it felt very homely and warm.

Very comfortable, clean and spacious mini apartment. All perfect, could not have asked for a better experience! Thanks and I would be happy to come back again!

It was very cozy, clean and located in a beautiful neighborhood where we could walk our dog. The actual studio was decorated very nicely and the garden was wonderful.

Casa della nonna is an amazing place where to stay. We visited Flanders to participate in a biking event and the location compared to Oadenaarde is just perfect (just about 15 minutes away). Carine, our host, has been nothing short than wonderful, and incredibly helpful and super careful to all our needs. The breakfast is just another level, so so good. Actually, we are sad we missed it one day due to the very early start of our race. The rooms are large and comfy. We did not use much the relax common area due to time constraints, however, it is super well furnished and a great addition to the overall experience. We surely will be back in our next Flanders adventures!

Amazing experience! From the host being such a nice and kind person, to the lovely breakfast, and the amazing decoration in the rooms and in the house. This is the kind of experience I enjoy when I am traveling somewhere! There is plenty of free parking on the street, and even a few tables and chairs on the back of the house where you can enjoy the view of the 30+ year old goose and a couple of deers :)

Meike is fabulous, she is one of the best hosts I have ever encountered. And for those traveling from the US, don’t be concerned, Meike lived for a bit in NYC so she knows how you like your eggs and coffee….and she still surprises you with some Flemish/Dutch and French specialties!

Lovely and peaceful surroundings inside and out. Warm and attentive hosts very willing to help as well as give space. Breakfast was sublime and massive. I came for the Tour of Flanders and the location was a 25 minute walk from a famous climb for the men's race and the women's race passed under my window. Can't beat that.
