B&Bs in Oulu

Cozy and home-like accommodation. Pikisaari is a unique setting for a small hotel like this, and yet the Oulu city centre is only a 5-min walk away. The rooms are comfortable, clean and decorated with taste. One of my favorite accommodations in Oulu, definitely.

First, I would mention the overall cozy feeling of the hostel. It almost feels like you're at an acquaintance's cottage. And the place is thoroughly clean, almost unheard of for a hostel. Another big plus was that breakfast was practically provided for free: There was free coffee available, instant, filter, or espresso, different types of bread, peanut butter, fruit, and more. The hostel is 3km from the center, but you can get to the center in a jiiffy with the cheap and efficient local city transport. A hotel stay would have been more expensive and less pleasant.

Very convenient when taking an early morning train.
