B&Bs in Château-Chalon

The location, the breakfast, and the hotel were absolutely perfect, but what truly stood out was the staff. They went above and beyond with such genuine care and attention that we felt incredibly valued—like VIPs the entire time.

Oh, what an incredible place and the owner... house is located in a small village, with a beautiful view on the vineyards. The owner is super friendly, nice woman. She doesn't speak English, but she used Google translate all the time to explain us everything. Breakfast was superb and the rooms were specious and clean. Highly recommended. We hope we will have a chance to come again.

The location is splendid, the house is stunning in its authenticity, antiques, paintings and curios. The room was extremely comfortable and well thought out. Bathroom was very pretty, with a giant tub and handheld shower. Towels were very fluffy. Cleanliness everywhere, and internet was blazing fast. Breakfast was just right, with natural products, great tea. And the best resource was Nathalie, with her sparkling intellect and joie de vivre - so much fun!

While the building was a classic country style, the bedroom was modern, light, and very comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had with freshly made brioche pain perdu (French toast), local Jura cheeses, baked goods, fruit, and more. The host, Olivier, is very welcoming, is a great cook, and his English is very good. Le49 is a great location to visit and experience the lovely Jura countryside.

The hosts were very kind and sweet. The location is nice and easily accessible for area sites. The room is modern and comfortable.

The food was great, classic French breakfast.
