The setting is both romantic and sublime, from the welcoming reception to the perfectly prepared optional dinner through the well appointed breakfast. We would suggest partaking in the dinner for both the food and the lively art of conversation with both the guests and hosts. The ingredients were all fresh and local. We loved the stimulating artwork throughout the facility. The cleanliness and comfortability of the facility is top shelf. Our stay will be a precious memory.

We arrived to such a warm welcome by the family who runs this Inn. I think we were the only guests that night and were treated like Royalty. Getting to sample the local liquor. A full menu for dinner written out personally on a chalk board. I highly recommend Chalet de la Source. I hidden gem in the mountains.

The host was very kind, and took the time to converse with us even though we had to use Google translate. The suite was lovely and spacious. Breakfast was good. The location was fabulous, close to the beautiful old part of Puy En Velay, a very cool church high on top of a rock, and a giant Mary and Jesus statue you can climb up into. I would stay here again!
