The room was spectacular - large, artistically beautiful, and comfortable. I really wish we could have stayed longer than just the one night... it was that charming! The staff was terrific, as well.

Large, comfortable room, fantastic shower, large comfortable bed, good lighting, great breakfast, beautiful wooded setting, very quiet, and a warm welcome from the host. Cool historic property. Safe bike storage.

Our hosts were exceptional. The breakfast was the best food we have had on our trip-homemade confiture, miel, and confectionery. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. Lovely walk to centre ville and gare. Could not have asked for better accommodation.

The room was nice and clean. Would not recommend it for mobility impaired people, as the rooms are on the top floor. On the other hand the ceiling windows are nice and easy to open. The location is quiet, we left the window open all night and did not hear anything. The breakfast is superb. The host, Oliver, is extremely nice and a fountain of information.

Everything about the property was authentic, clean, room was amazing, as was breakfast. Hosts were friendly and so helpful. They were so informative about the area and helped me plan my days in the Loire Valley.

This is a room and private bathroom in a house with 11 rental rooms and a common living/dining room, kitchen, and garden with an outdoor dining set up. It is beautifully done. A gorgeous old building renovated with great care and style. The kitchen is wonderful, and sharing it not an issue. The rooms have great quality bedding and wonderful new bathrooms. The woman who comes to clean every day does an outstanding job. The owner doesn't live on the premises but checks up regularly and sees that everything is in order. It's been fun to meet others staying there. Very quiet at night, a peaceful spot, on a beautiful street in walking distance to everything important. A fantastic find!

We liked the price and that the toilet and shower were right outside our room. We liked the simplicity of the room, the cleanliness and convenience of location.

My stay was one happy discovery after another. Great location; took a bus from the train station to the center and easily walked the few blocks. Lovely neighborhood, classic old building, beautifully renovated. The bedroom was large and airy with a comfy bed, the bathroom was enormous with a big shower and tub, with a fun, cheery, designer-tile decor. The shared spaces on the ground floor - living/dining room, counter space to eat at while plugged in, and the ktichen - were thoroughly cleaned every day and always pleasant. The kitchen was the best-equipped I've found in months of travels. Lots of basics are furnished - coffee, tea, sugar, salt, etc - and there is plenty of fridge and cabinet space, Quality appliances, and best of all, good cooking equipment, including some stainless steel, and no degraded teflon. It was obvious that the host has a generous and thoughtful approach to setting up these accommodations. Really stands out, among my experiences - even comparing elsewhere in lovely Saumur.
