B&Bs in Tournus

We arrived a couple of hours later than planned and Valerie waited to meet us at the property and get us settled. She was very kind and pleasant and between us, we managed to bridge our language gap. We stayed in the double room with terrace which is the door furthest left in the attached pictures. We were greeted with a complimentary charcuterie plate and a bottle of wine from the region. The studio apartment was very clean, pleasantly designed and decorated, bright without being overly sunny during the day, and well-equipped. The bed itself was comfortable for sleeping. The hair dryer was a plus. We had been booked elsewhere but when we saw the high temperatures in Tournus around the time of our stay, we canceled and rebooked with Domaine des Jardins for the air conditioning and were so glad we did. The air conditioning unit in our room worked well and provided much needed relief after long days of walking in the heat. The location across the river from town was beautiful and peaceful. It was an easy walk across the bridge to the center of town and we enjoyed seeing all the folks picnicking along the grassy riverbank. The private parking directly on site was very convenient. We met Stephane the night before we were leaving when he checked in on us. He was genial and very flexible regarding our "checkout" time as we had an event to attend that morning. All-in-all, a very positive experience and wonderful accommodation.

Beautiful grounds. Comfortable bed

The location is an incredible medieval castle that has been perfectly restored while keeping its authentic charm. What makes this place truly special is Amarante and Raoul. We enjoyed an amazing dinner and breakfast there. The experience was breathtaking, with salads and main courses infused with medieval herbs we had never tasted before. Raoul is also a world-class wine specialist with a wine cellar full of treasures. We came for a relaxing moment with our 6-month-old baby but returned with an unforgettable experience. Thanks again Amarante and Raoul we will definitely come back

Beautifully renovated old farm building, very quiet, fantastic breakfast, showers were great!

Spacious, comfortable, recently renovated room with a large bathroom, an exceptionally beautiful view overlooking the Romanesque church of St Philibert, and a great, thoughtful welcome from Annette. Safe, free parking in the square by the church.

Friendly staff, very very nice room/house, quiet place, beautiful sunset, unforgettable hot tub, excellent breakfast, comfortable beds, good wifi.

The ancient chateau was very original. Not for those who want pristine but for those who like history & a sense you’re staying in the real thing. Beautiful tiny town and views from the chateau of surrounding countryside.

Muriel, the manager, was wonderful and so was the propriator who owns the property and vineyards
