We had an incredible stay at this bed and breakfast in Perreuse while attending a wedding nearby. Coming from city life ourselves, it was such a special experience to completely unplug and slow down in the French countryside. The village is incredibly peaceful and quiet, and the beautiful weather made it even better. We spent time relaxing outside by the pool and truly enjoying the calm atmosphere. What made the experience unforgettable, though, were the hosts. Every morning they prepared thoughtful breakfasts with fresh local produce, and they were so generous with their time and hospitality. They shared the history of the home, the village, and the surrounding area with so much pride and passion. You could immediately feel how deeply they care about preserving the local culture and traditions, and they were incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our stay. We also visited Puisaye during a local market day, which was such a memorable experience. The town was full of character, charm, and authenticity. There are also many nearby historical sites and beautiful places to explore, though unfortunately we did not have enough time to see everything. If you are looking to experience the French countryside, disconnect from busy city life, and enjoy genuine hospitality, we highly recommend staying here. The hosts truly made this experience unforgettable, and we are very grateful for everything they shared with us about their history and culture. It is a trip and experience we will never forget.

Great location for visit to nearby Guedelon, La Treille is a charmingly decorated quaint B&B.

Nothing. The property is a fraud. It looks nothing like the photos on line. It is in complete disrepair. The garden room terrace consisted of an old sofa set out on the lawn.

We were welcomed warmly by the kind hosts and dined in their charming, top-rated restaurant. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. There are many interesting places to visit in the surrounding area, including Guedelon, La Maison de Colette, and several historic chateaux and churches.

Warm, welcoming hosts, a lovely dinner (reasonable extra cost and totally worth it - partake if you have the chance!), a very comfortable bed and roomy walk-in shower. Very nice lounge areas downstairs with wood and pellet stoves should you be there on a chilly evening. Great location between Guedelon and Saint-Fargeau but still in peaceful countryside.

Host made their own, yummy yogurt, and crepes. We had multiple drink options. They also accommodated our special request and made real efforts to get through the language barrier!

Close to Guedelon castle. The owner was very friendly and spoke great English. My room was on the first floor, overlooking a small pond. The overall atmosphere was serene and quiet, especially at night. Delicious breakfast.
