Large, spacious room. Bathroom was also quite large with tub, shower and separate WC. Ample, standard French breakfast with bread, croissant, jam, yogurt, cheese etc. Host was great about providing restaurant suggestions. We had a delicious classic French meal helped a bit by name dropping our host's name when we arrived at the restaurant without a reservation. [it was a weeknight in October and the restaurant was not crowded]. Just a note to those arriving at the guest house, our mapping program brought us to the back of the property. The entrance is on the canal side. We found after a few minutes of thought.

We arrived very early to find the accommodation so that when we did check in we were on time as it's privately owned. We were delighted when our hostess was at the property and she checked us in and showed us around. A beautiful deck with garden we enjoyed in the evenings after touring the city. Breakfast was simple with fresh croissants, baguette, with homemade jams, and apple cider, coffee, tea and yogurt. Parking is on street parking on the street behind property. Location is a 9 minute drive to old town and there is a parking garage near the Cathedral. Or it's around a 30 minute walk.
