This place was exceptional - not to be missed! Ciara was a fabulous host. She was very friendly, provided information on the area, and made a great, locally sourced breakfast. After staying here, we saw a program on Ireland public TV about how Barnahown came to be - from idea to opening day. Amazing story!

I loved the accomodation. The room was lovely, the gardens were fabulous. I loved that there was a river running along the end of the garden, it was definitely therapeutic. The host Des was really lovely and very helpful. There was lovely brown bread, scones, hotcross buns and treats provided in the room. Tea, coffee and milk were also provided. The room was lovely and warm. plenty of towels were provided. Everything was just perfect.

We spent a great night in the house. Jacque is a lovely host, their two dogs brightened our arrival, and the house is very calming and pleasing since it is a renovated spa which retains it's calm aura.

Everything about this B&B was fantastic! The house is quaint and comfortable. The property is beautiful and offers stunning views as well as the opportunity to go for a walk to the river for a wonderful sunset view. We were lucky enough to get a corner room with two huge windows to enjoy the scenery and hear the horses and cows! Breakfast was delicious as well. To top it all off, Jason & Valerie were extremely warm and inviting. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you! P.S. We would also recommend Cafe Bella in Fermoy for dinner! Delicious Italian food!

Had a short overnight stay here for a Richmond Revival gig. It was something special to be able to hear the soundcheck from my room. It's all a work-in-progress in a place with great character and even more potential. Very central, very affordable, and the bed was so comfortable that I felt I was lying on a rock when I got back into my own the following night (those nuns weren't leading a very ascetic existence...). There're pets around the place, including a couple of squabbling goats named Noel and Liam at the bottom of the garden, but they're well out of your way if you don't want to see them. However, I mention them for those others, like me, who do book places on account of resident dogs and feline overlords (I'd have them in the advertising material). The Richmond Revival is a little gem in North Cork.
