The house is just right off the main road, easy to find. Surprisingly, it is pretty quiet at night! The room is small but cozy. It has home feeling. The kitchen is convenient to use, for quick breakfast and morning coffee. The guests are in general single or couple and no kids- I guess due to the limited available rooms for large family; they come to sleep and leave. So it is a comfortable stay. I would highly suggest this place for people just looking for a quiet room to rest. It is very good value.

Everything was great!! Unnur, the host, is super responsive and lovely. The guesthouse is spacious, beautiful and clean. The dining area is really large and has a beautiful view. There’s all sorts of things in the kitchen to help you cook, like oil and spices. And indeed Unnur and her husband cooked tasty pancakes for breakfast served with jam and maple syrup. Definitely recommend this place!!

A cozy guest house, our best stay in Iceland! Véronique is super friendly and welcoming. We felt like we were at home. The facility is very very clean and equipped with everything we need. Beds are comfortable, the shower and the toilet are also very clean. Slightly out of the busy area made it easy to see the northern lights. All that for a very affordable price.
