The large, airy rooms with beautiful views in quiet surroundings, in front of the beach, make for a pleasant stay. Even though the bathrooms are shared, there's a toilet inside the room and double wash bassins right behind the door. Free coffee/tea is offered. The whole place has been cleverly thought of to ensure a practical stay and provide for every guest's needs. The lady of the house is very friendly and charming. All this for a very reasonable price.

Loved everything about my stay at Haryugetu! Hiro-san was kind enough to pick me up from the train station and take me to the beautiful guesthouse he built himself. The room and bath were lovely and very comfortable. Mayu-san’s cooking was delicious, both dinner and breakfast! The location was perfect, right on the beach and was even able to go surfing with Hiro-san! Highly recommend and hope that I am able to return someday.

I liked the big, spacious room. And the view from the nearby corridor to the outside was very nice.

We stayed in the guesthouse while cycling around Shikoku. The guesthouse was very close to the beach which was lovely. We stored our bikes just outside the main entry in this small town. The guesthouse was very clean and had laundry facilities. We ate in the restaurant that was part of the guesthouse and had a plentiful meal.

Kanchantei The Tiny House is a recently renovated guest house in Minamicho where guests can make the most of the free bikes and garden.

It’s an artistic an cultural phenomena run by a deeply creative & thoughtful Owner. “Kanchan” has created a six star environment that the luxury hotels would never have the capacity to offer. The sheer number of “great ideas” is mind boggling. The most important treat is spending time with Kanchan, talking about his life, his garden, his passion. He, and Kanchantei, are one in a million. I HIGHLY recommend visiting.
