The room was very clean and spacious. It is off the beaten path, very quiet. There is a fantastic small grocery store nearby that also sells fresh prepared meals. The location is convenient to go anywhere on the island and a short drive away from the shops and restaurants in Uruma. Last but not least the owner was very kind and considerate.

Their kindness and professionalism truly made a difference in my experience. The rooms were excellent, and every interaction with the team felt warm and genuine. It’s rare to find this level of care and attention to detail, and it made my stay not only enjoyable but memorable. I highly recommend Yoko House to anyone looking for not just a place to stay, but a place where the staff truly cares about their guests. I’ll definitely be returning! I live in Okinawa and used this place to shut out noise and completely focus on a writing project for a few days. The owner was very kind, the room and shared facilities were well-maintained and clean, the mini kitchen had everything you need for a short stay, the cats (and one dog) living on the ground floor were super cute and provided much-needed respite from the writing. Great location near the Gintengai bars (which I didn’t go to this time because I had to focus on writing, but I’ve been there and they’re great) and a convenience store and supermarket all within walking distance, overall great value for money!
