It is a very special house, with an impressive history which is wonderfully preserved. Very kind and helpful staff, which offer a free tour through the museum (which in itself is worth a visit!). Delicious breakfast on the cute terrace. Absolutely worth the visit!

Very nice very central accommodation. The hosts were very friendly and offered very tasty dinner as well as breakfast. The rooms are modern and very clean. We organised a tour to Touba with them as well as an airport pickup. Both things worked seamlessly. Communication with them via WhatsApp worked very well.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Waypoint Suites in Dakar, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience. The hosts were truly exceptional—loving and caring, they made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail were evident throughout my stay. Swift response to my request and anything I want or having issues with. The whole staffs, they took me like family. The manager Salif is a kind, caring, and loving man, took us for a drive around the city in his personal car, took us to the market, bought lunch for us, introduced us to his son, and even showed us where he lives. I have traveled to different cities and countries I must say no one has ever done this or shown this type of care towards me. The accommodation was comfortable and inviting, and the local tips they provided helped me explore the city like a local. I even walk the streets, I felt safe and welcomed, and I genuinely appreciated their kindness. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Dakar with hosts who treat you like family, look no further. Stayed at a time when they were doing massive upgrades to the facility. Remodeling of lobby, rooms etc and it's definitely a much sleeker place with new furniture and facilities. Breakfast was great. Fruits, yogurt, hot pastries, croissants, coffee etc. The free wifi speeds were generally good. The rooms were also great value for money with facilities including a fridge, electric kettle, a coffee maker, large comfortable beds and a balcony.

This place is beautiful and you can't beat the location on Goree Island. The hosts were exceptionally kind and they were always available if I had any questions. I definitely appreciated the breakfast.

The hotel is located in a quiet area behind Presidential Palace beside coastal drive. It’s a real oasis in the busy city like Dakar. If you looking for a quiet place to stay in Dakar, this is the one. The front desk lady was really friendly and helpful. The room is simple, but functional.

Sonu and his team are grat! Friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The room was clean & functional (kettle, bedside lamp …), WiFi was good, kitchen well stocked to prepare a meal. Good value for money in Dakar. Recommended!

Sonu is really helpful! Here's what I love about this place. It's about a 30-minute walk to the ferry and train station, all on one straight road, so super easy to find. Plus it's really close to the Médina and Marché Téré. There's a big Auchan nearby and several restaurants around. The Wi-Fi is fast, and the room comes with a kettle, fan, AC, instant coffee, mugs, and even a TV. Bathroom has hot showers and liquid soap by the sink. Toilet paper and towel all provided. When I paid in euros, they actually gave me change back in euros too, which was a nice surprise. I wanted to buy a Demdikk bus ticket to Banjul but didn't have a local payment method. Sonu just helped me out without hesitation and sorted everything super quick. After spending time traveling in West Africa, you learn that this kind of service isn't something you can always expect. So when everything just works, it really does feel like paradise. Overall, everything met my needs perfectly. Sonu speaks English really well and reminded me to reach out if I ever have any problems. I think it deserves a higher rating. Maybe some cyclists left lower reviews (and I get it, I used to be a long-distance cyclist myself), but most travelers aren't cyclists with those specific needs. For other types of travelers, this place is really perfect.
