A very welcoming place with a relaxed atmosphere with a view on the river. The facilities are amazing. Food was excellent and the river bank view was great. Great location to put your bag and visit the area

What an amazing stay I had at Canaan! Joy, the host, is super nice and will give you the best advice about whatever you need. Rooms are clean and comfy. Next door there's a local restaurant where I had the best pad Thai ever! Highly recommend!

We loved this place and loved the owner. The rooms are large, very clean , comfortable beds and hot showers. Wonderful breakfast every morning. The beautiful pool is also an added bonus in the Thailand heat. The guesthouse is just off the main road but still very quiet! We wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else if we returned to Kanchanaburi!

We stayed in 2 raft rooms on the river which were amazing. The rooms were clean, we got free drinking water, communal tea and coffee making facilities, helpful staff, very low price. We would definitely stay here again.

Very good value for your money. The staff is extremely friendly and we had a great time staying at this guesthouse. The location is perfect and it is not too loud at night. The room and bathroom were clean enough.

The guest house was welcoming from the moment we arrived. The hosts were the best part our stay. We were a bit unorganized as it was only our second day in Thailand and they helped us sort a few things out. The name Ban Sabai Sabia means tranquil house and that's what it was. Our little cabin was upstairs and we were surrounded by trees which felt very peaceful. It was in a fairly rural area. However , there were markets a short walk away and an upmarket resort, also a short walk away, where we enjoyed delicious meals every night. The resort also took credit cards to pay for meals which was handy as we have found that most places only take cash . If we were ever in the area again we would definitely stay here.

This place is so special - it simply eases your stress as soon as you arrive. The accomodation is simple, spacious, clean and in nature. The tea house that serves breakfast is situated by a river and has such a peaceful atmosphere that it is hard to peel away from it after breakfast. The owner and the staff are genuinely caring anf responsive. This place left an indelible mark in our vacation memories. Please go there and be touched by the serene atmosphere.
