Had a lovely stay at The Olde Town Inn. Our room was lovely, clean and very comfortable and the location good, but the 10 rating really goes to the overall experience we enjoyed there. We stayed for two nights at New Year, so was able to enjoy both a comedy evening and on New Years Eve itself an excellent blues band in the Fox's Lair - the basement bar of the Inn. The Fox's Lair is a really welcoming and friendly bar - in fact we felt as if we had been invited to a friends party! It has a reputation for attracting good musicians and it certainly lived up to the billing. Many basement music bars have an unkempt and grubby feel but this is certainly not the case here. The host Melinda is really nice and extremely helpful. We would definitly recommend.

From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. Melinda was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive—always ready with helpful suggestions and genuine hospitality that made our stay extra special. The inn itself is absolutely charming, beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches in every corner that make it both elegant and cozy. Each morning started with the most delicious homemade breakfasts, lovingly prepared with fresh ingredients straight from the garden. You can truly taste the care and pride that goes into every dish! It was the perfect way to begin each day. The Bird’s Nest Inn is a true gem—warm, peaceful, and filled with heart. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable stay!
