We spent one night at Hartenbos Breakaway- BeachHouse cottage , it proved to be very comfortable. It is beautifully decorated with some really clever furnishings for small spaces. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, the patio provides a lovely relaxing spot to unwind. The owner was friendly, providing an uncomplicated check in. Thank you

The breakfast was sufficient and the hit breakfasts were very well prepared. People were very willing to please . We asked for the French press coffee and they brought the carafe to our table of four.

The view and the room was very comfortable.

We loved the location of Bay Lodge Guesthouse, with its amazing sea view. The breakfast was delicious, the staff were very welcoming, and we felt completely relaxed throughout our stay. We would love to return for a longer visit next time to enjoy everything they have to offer.

I was amazed with the tidyness and value for money. The place is fancy and there is everything you need to make your experience the best. I loved the place so much and I will definitely book this place again in the future and introduce my family and friends.

Staying here feels like being on a private villa, even though it’s just a room. The location is great – you’re outside the city, enjoying peace and quiet, but still very close to town. With a car, everything is easily accessible. Breakfast is included, which is a nice touch. The best part of my stay was the incredible host. She was warm, genuinely caring, and went above and beyond to help with recommendations on places to visit, things to do, and where to eat.

Room was new and spacious. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Walking distance from the beautiful beach.

Squeaky clean, new building. Felt safe & secure. No reception on-site so there was a phone call 30 min wait to get inside. Spacious common rooms, well appointed kitchen shared with other guests. Commanding view of the valley ona steep hillside above & outside of town. Quiet sleep environment.

The property is located in a scenic place with panoramic view to the ocean. The place itself is very calm and safe. The hosts are wonderful and friendly, the style of their house is so cute, we loved it. We lived in Dolphin room and all the towels were wit dolphin embroideries! :) We were served with tasty breakfast on the terrace as well. They also have such a nice dachshund Zara 🥹
