It is a very lively hotel with pleasant people, very good food and sometimes even live music. It breathes the family atmosphere, kindness and service we enjoyed a lot. The hotel rooms were very clean and we liked the room as it was designed with the bath and shower being part of the room. Another real asset is the bicycle storage, accessible with your room card and equipped with many power outlets, perfect!

Our room was exactly as pictured with a view over the canal. We went out for breakfast and we found lovely cafes just across the bridge and around the corner. In the early evening we would walk to a bar to have a drink and people watch. Utrecht is a wonderful walking city truly worth a visit. Our host, Niels, was welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had use of a washing machine and dryer (which was not in our room)it was much appreciated. There is a supermarket within 5 mins walk if you want to buy milk or snacks. Everything was easy!

The most unique stay ever and very comfortable. Lovely owners, who have done a great job setting up this unique location. The water tower is historic and has such a unique charm. The mattress is fantastic, bathroom is amazing, appliances are really cool and functional, it's clean and comfortable. I'll be going back if there is availability.

I travelled almost 50 countries and stayed lot of hotels, home stays and bed and breakfast but I was amazed with the hospitality of Roy (thank you). It was really a home like stay. Everything was exceptional, the room, the facilities, location and the fresh breakfast which Roy brought into our room with a smile. Roy kept asking about our needs. I will say that t Westerkwartiertje is gem 💎. Currently there is only one room with no provision of extra beds. This B&B is suitable for couples. Located in small town of Aduard, just 8km outside of Groningen and easily accessible by Car, Uber etc.
100% recommend.
