The entire stay here was fantastic! The house is a wonder, it is beautiful, so big and with real Bavarian flair. We've been to Oberammergau at least 8 times in our travels to Germany and this visit was by far the best stay we've had staying at the Lang house. The hospitality and friendly welcome the Lang family gave us was amazing. They really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. And their refrigerator is full of beer and wine ALL for free for you. Just book this place as you next stay in Oberammergau and you will experience a great time here. Check in was very easy with a key in a lock box at the door. The room was very comfortable, clean and a nice size. It is in a quiet location, and the room itself was very quiet. Breakfast was very good. The owners even offered to leave us breakfast ready when we needed to leave very early the next morning. Highly recommend.

This hotel is so beautifully situated in the valley of a stunning castle set-up. We hiked up to the large fortress and took the fun mountain-side elevator down. The breakfast spread was perfect and the meals were wonderful.

With some rooms offering wonderful views of the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles, this traditional hotel is just a 5-minute drive from Füssen and the Austrian border.

Location was perfect, everything is easily within walking distance. The beds are quite firm but comfy and warm in the winter. Breakfast consisted of boiled eggs, fruit, some meats and cheeses, bread, and corn flakes.
